Terms and Conditions for Bunnefit

Welcome to Bunnefit. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bunnefit mobile application and the Bunnefit website located at https://bunnefit.com (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Bunnefit (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

Bunnefit is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly permit use by individuals under 18.

2. Nature of the Service and Medical Disclaimer

Bunnefit is a personal wellness and symptom tracking tool. The Service allows users to log, view, and reflect on self-entered information such as symptoms, mood, sleep, energy levels, and wellness trends.

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, predictions, or professional healthcare guidance. Bunnefit is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of information logged, displayed, or tracked within the Service.

Your use of the Service and any reliance on information within it is solely at your own risk.

3. Accounts and Access

The Service currently does not require user accounts. If account-based features are introduced, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to safeguard any credentials associated with your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse any portion of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or functionality of the Service
Use the Service in a manner that could harm Bunnefit or others

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Bunnefit and/or its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, content, design elements, text, graphics, logos, and functionality.

All rights are reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense any portion of the Service without prior written permission from Bunnefit.

6. Third-Party Services and Analytics

We use third-party services to improve functionality and stability, including:

Firebase Crashlytics (anonymized crash reporting)
Firebase Analytics (anonymous events tracking for feature improvements)

Your use of the Service constitutes agreement to the terms and policies of these third parties. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of such third-party services.

7. User-Generated Content

7.1 In-App Content (e.g., Photos)

If you add content such as photos or reflections, you retain full ownership. Because this content is stored only on your device, you are responsible for its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. You agree that you have the right to use any content you add and that it does not violate the rights of others.

7.2 Website Comments

Users may post comments on the website. Bunnefit does not pre-screen comments and is not responsible for them. You grant Bunnefit a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display such content on the website. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Anonymous Identifiers and Cloud Data

Bunnefit uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to assign a random internal ID to your device. This ID:

Is used only to verify Bun+ (Fluffle) status and award badges
Is not linked to your name, email, or health/journal data
Cannot personally identify you

Other anonymous metadata, such as Sanctuary Rank counters, is stored in the cloud for app functionality but contains no personal information.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

For Bun+ (Fluffles) subscriptions, transactions are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store credit card or billing information. Only an anonymous purchase token is received to confirm subscription status and unlock premium features.

10. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bunnefit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service, including third-party service issues.

Because all app data (reflections, symptoms, photos) is stored locally, you are solely responsible for its security and maintenance. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or privacy breaches on your device.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bunnefit from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
